YYC Pizza Fest
Last weekend to rate 21 contest pizzas
YYC Pizza Fest is an annual competition run by Calgary Meals on Wheels, the charity that delivers meals to Calgarians who can't cook for themselves. Since October 2, about 21 restaurants have each served one original pizza, such as 4th Spot Kitchen's The Bánh Mizza, Portland Street Pizza's Pho Pizza, Alforno's Duck Confit Pizza and LICS's The Pepperoni Pizza Dog. You order at the restaurant during its regular hours, then rate the pizza online or in the app. Public ratings decide Top Rated, Most Popular, Most Innovative and The Baker Award for best crust, and some entries are flagged vegan, vegetarian or gluten-friendly.
