MarketSpot: Local on 17th Night Market
MarketSpot is a Calgary market organizer that ran weekend markets in Tomkins Park in 2015 and 2016 before moving to mall pop-ups. This one-night fall edition brings it back to the park after about ten years, as a special Saturday of the 17th Avenue BIA's Local on 17th night-market series. Expect stalls of local makers, handmade goods and vintage. The series is run with Versions, the local crew behind the DJ sets at the summer editions, and the BIA bills it as free and family friendly. It goes ahead subject to weather, so check the forecast before heading out.
