An Evening with Bonnie Garmus (Lessons in Chemistry author)

This is a live on-stage conversation rather than a reading. Bonnie Garmus's debut, Lessons in Chemistry, spent nearly two years on the New York Times bestseller list, was translated into more than 40 languages and became an Emmy-winning Apple TV series. Her second novel, Peck & Peck, is the reason for this visit, and Wordfest bills it as her only Western Canadian appearance. Canadian author Susin Nielsen leads the interview, with audience questions submitted in advance, and Garmus personalizes books at a signing afterward. Owl's Nest Books sells copies on site, and festival pass holders get in free but must RSVP to boxoffice@wordfest.com.
