YYC Pizza Fest (Citywide pizza competition)
21 contest pizzas to rate for charity
YYC Pizza Fest started in 2014 as YYC Pizza Week and became a longer festival in 2022, organized by Calgary Meals on Wheels. For 2026, 21 restaurants each built a contest pizza, and diners order it during regular hours and rate it. Awards go to Top Rated and Most Innovative by public vote, Most Popular by sales at a single location, and the Baker Award for the best crust. There's no ticket or festival site, just the restaurants, and $1-$4 from every pizza sold goes to the charity.
