Hocus Pocus (1993 Halloween movie screening)

Hocus Pocus is the 1993 Halloween comedy in which Max Dennison and his little sister Dani have to stop the Sanderson sisters, three witches he accidentally resurrected on Halloween night. The GRAND, the downtown theatre in the historic Lougheed Building, gives it one Friday screening with closed captions. Come early for the lobby bar, which pours a themed cocktail and serves pizza from Uncle Fatih's before the film. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and the film carries a PG rating under Alberta's guidelines. There's a wheelchair lift at the front entrance, and accessibility companion seats are sold at the same price.
