Harvest Pumpkin Fest at Butterfield Acres (Farm pumpkin weekend)

Harvest Pumpkin Fest is Butterfield Acres' October weekend program at its own farm on the city's northwest edge, separate from the petting zoo it takes to markets. Tickets are booked for a specific day and two-hour slot, and they're non-refundable. Visits include farm animals and a tractor-pulled wagon ride through Scarecrow Alley, the farm's back-woodland route. Morning tickets can add the Pint-Sized Pumpkin Picker hunt for a child-sized pumpkin, and pony riders must be under 60 lb (27 kg). Pumpkins cost extra, from $4.99 for a small one to $19.99 and up for Cinderella giants, paid at the exit, and you can drop them at the car and come back in.
