Disney's Moana Live-To-Film Concert (Movie with a live orchestra)

A live-to-film concert screens the complete movie while an orchestra plays its soundtrack in time with the picture, so the songs and score come from real musicians in the hall instead of the film's audio track. Here it's Disney's Moana, the animated story of a girl who sails out across the ocean to save her island, with the Calgary Philharmonic conducted by Susie Benchasil Seiter. The program credits composer Mark Mancina and describes the music as a collaboration with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foaʻi. There are two performances, Friday evening and a Saturday afternoon matinee. Kids 12 and under get kids' pricing, and children 2 and under on a guardian's lap don't need a ticket.
