MASTANÉ PRESENTS: THE 333 TOURThree nights. Three Experiences. Three Different Cities. This is the big one — the Mastané Flagship Live Show.In November, Mastané take over a full weekend in each city on the 333 tour: three different shows across three nights, each one a different side of the project. Friday is the flagship Mastané show; the live experience Mastané is known for. Asad Khan and Raaginder have been building Mastané since 2019. 2024's Arrival tour sold out rooms across North America, and this is their first run since. The two of them come from opposite sides of Punjab and play it as one — live violin, live vocals, and electronic production written around Indian classical and Punjabi folk. The set includes hits like Piya Ghar Aaya and Jind Mahi, plus a stack of unreleased music that hasn't been played anywhere yet. The show is built as a single arc rather than a setlist. Slow and meditative early, an outright rager by the end, and you go the whole way in one night. Viq designs the world it moves through: lighting, stage and visuals designed alongside the music rather than added on top of it.

Kaminéh is a DJ collective with members in Calgary, Vancouver and the UK, built around pushing South Asian music and culture forward through rooms they curate themselves. They join Mastané for the first night. The night brings together Bobby Kang, Kokaheena and Mastané. Bobby Kang comes off co-producing Bass Dhol with Skrillex and Ahadadream for Island Records and producing the bulk of Raf Saperra's catalogue — a lot of what the rest of the world is currently catching up to came out of his sessions. Kokaheena co-founded Kaminéh and plays out of Calgary, moving across bass, rhythm and soul without borders. Mastané play live: Raaginder on violin, Asad on the decks. High energy from the top. Punjabi and South Asian records treated with UKG, house and bass.

This meditative live set featuring musical duo Mastané is rooted in Indian classical and Punjabi folk music, as they explore the contemplative and improvisational sides of their artistry through live vocals, alaaps, and violin layered over evolving ambient textures. Ambient synth and soundscape, built out slowly over two years. Sabr changes shape depending on the room and who's in it. This is the Mastané version, with Raaginder alongside him. Punjabi folk, ghazals, Indian classical, music from both sides of the border, and originals. Sabr means patience, and the whole night is built on it. Ideal for: The part of you that needs stillness.
