Wild Walk 2026 (Calgary Zoo charity walk)

Wild Walk is the Calgary Zoo's family fundraising walk, not a race, and this is only its second year. It grew out of the Gorilla Run, which began in 2004 and later became the Wild Run. Walkers set off from Penguin Plaza before the zoo opens to the public, passing keepers who give animals enrichment, the toys, scents and treats that get them playing and foraging. Afterward there's a buffet breakfast with live music, lawn games and a photo booth. Costumes are welcome but leave masks at home, it runs rain, snow or shine, and fundraising is optional.
