Cara Luft with Brianna Lizotte (Roots album-release concert)

Cara Luft is a Juno-winning Canadian folk singer and multi-instrumentalist, and a founding member of two well-known roots groups, The Wailin' Jennys and The Small Glories. Friday is her Calgary hometown release show for My Heart Will Always Be, her first solo album in more than 13 years, which features The Weakerthans' John K. Samson and banjo player Alison Brown. Clayton Parsons, part of the album's core recording group, is also on the bill. Juno-nominated Edmonton fiddler Brianna Lizotte opens. Fish Creek Concerts, the volunteer series presenting it, is in its 20th season.
