Calgary Cup Day 1 (University basketball tournament)

The Calgary Cup is the UCalgary Dinos' annual preseason basketball tournament, 11 games over three days with men's and women's teams from Acadia, Windsor, Ottawa, Lethbridge and UBC Okanagan. That brings schools from Nova Scotia and Ontario that Calgary teams don't meet in Canada West play. Friday opens with Windsor vs. Acadia women and Lethbridge vs. Ottawa men before the Dinos women and men take on UBCO. The Dinos women play as reigning Canada West champions. A weekend pass covers all 11 games, and the gym is reachable from University C-Train station.
