CS Campus Summer Sendoff (Free patio party with roller skating)
Free skate rentals at a pop-up rink
Summer Sendoff is a free, all-ages party the Calgary Stampede runs on Enbridge Plaza and inside Sam Centre, its year-round event space. The main draw is a pop-up Biggies Roller Rink with free skate rentals. One stage carries a new act every hour, including Zenon+, Jared Daniel with Tayo and Irvin Miller, ending with DJ Joash Charles's sunset set. Maisie Eatery burgers, Bar Milpa tacos, Tubby's hot dogs and Cluck 'N Cleaver fried chicken handle the food, with face painting, roaming performers and a mini makers' market around them. A free yoga and Pilates class runs 4 to 5 PM at the Riverfront BMO Amphitheatre.
