Stoodis Fest (Indigenous music festival)

Email

Stoodis Fest is a new Indigenous-run music festival, and Saturday is its first edition, presented as a soft launch with the next one already set for June 2027. More than ten Indigenous acts play MacEwan Hall on the University of Calgary campus, and the range is unusually wide for one bill: country, hip hop, electronic, metal, folk and traditional music. Turning Robe Drum Group is on the lineup, and Elders and cultural programming run alongside the bands. It is built as a family afternoon, all ages and drug- and alcohol-free. General admission is a standing ticket at $15 plus a $4.20 fee, while children 12 and under and seniors over 60 get in free.
