Circus + Bluegrass Fest – Summer Wrap Up
The Capitol Hill Community Association calls this party Rattle the Bones, and Friday is the second and final date of its 2026 run. Bluegrass is acoustic string-band music built on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and upright bass, and The Smokin' Toad Revival, a Calgary bluegrass band, plays live while Skinny Circus performs acrobatic and sideshow stunts. Food trucks set up before the 6 PM start, and there is a beer garden, fire pits, games and prizes. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. It is free as part of Alberta Culture Days and open to all ages, but every guest needs a free registration ticket, and the whole program moves inside the hall if the weather turns.
