Calgary Hitmen vs. Red Deer Rebels

The Calgary Hitmen play in the Western Hockey League, the major junior league where players roughly 16 to 20 years old develop toward the NHL draft. Friday is their home opener, game one of a 68-game season, and it falls on opening night for the entire league. The club has branded 2026-27 its Farewell Season, and the first visitor is Central Division rival Red Deer. It is the same Saddledome the Flames use, at junior prices starting at $19. Bags must be 14 by 14 by 6 inches or smaller, strollers have to fold under your seat, and there is no re-entry.
